What’s important:
- Restful, J2EE, Oracle, eCommerce, Spring, ( SEO is huge plus),
- This person should have a strong working knowledge of J2EE development, preferably using an eCommerce platform such as Elastic Path or the equivalent.
- The individual will need to be able to work within a large team and to collaborate with other groups including business clients, front-end developers, and infrastructure.

- This person should also have experience working with social platforms, in understanding how to incorporate eCommerce opportunities into social applications.
Musts:

2-3 years developing service based implementations, and be able to implement RESTful calls and architectures

2-3 years of eCommerce experience (especially knowledge of a well-established platform such as Elastic Path)

5-7 years experience developing enterprise-level Java / J2EE web-based applications (Oracle Weblogic experience a plus)

Solid understanding of software requirements/design/development techniques, especially use of agile methodologies, Object Oriented design, UML, and design patterns

Experience with a wide range of client and server-side technologies including Spring (Spring MVC a plus), JPA or Hibernate (OpenJPA a plus), Velocity / JSP, HTML, Ant

Strong SQL / relational database programming skills (Oracle a plus)

Excellent focus on testing, especially Test Driven Development using JUnit

Development using Eclipse and CVS or Subversion
Day to Day:

Work with business clients to gather business requirements and recommend, design and develop appropriate technical solutions.

Maintain a strong focus on testing, coding standards, and code qualit

Provide/develop a high degree of business functional knowledge to help guide solutions.

Document requirements and designs and keep documentation up-to-date.

Must be able to lead conversations and meetings with the business customers on deliverables, and be able to ask the right quesitons to get the right answers from the customer

Looking for a candidate to drive and take ownership. Help lead junior staff and mentor them in the proper agile development methodologies.

Provide on-call support for production systems
